One of the most frequent requests I receive from users is to see our roadmap, and that makes perfect sense. Having invested in a solution and relying on it to keep your business running, you want to know what is new, what is coming and if you are taking advantage of new capabilities to maximize the return on your investment. Knowledge of the roadmap can also help you determine if there are requests you'd like to make for new capabilities (which you can do at the IBM Sterling Ideas Forum).

This is why I'm pleased to tell you about a 25-minute review of the IBM Sterling Supply Chain Business Network (SCBN) roadmap that you can watch at your convenience. Learn about new functionality we have recently released to solve four common challenges you may be facing now or in the future.

Overcoming resource and skill limitations with self-service hands on configuration capabilities that enable:
    • Code list editing
    • Map edit and end-to-end testing
    • Managing test and production in a single UI

Incorporating new technologies that complement existing technologies to help you better respond to evolving business and technical requirements through:
    • API usage
    • Protocol-based EDI transactions and API integration working together

    Achieving cost-effective scalability:
    • Deal with unprecedented transaction volumes brought on by the global pandemic
    • Accelerate on-boarding

Leveraging AI to extend visibility and gain insights with IBM Sterling Business Transaction Intelligence:
    • Turn the information in your data into insights
    • Use natural language search to get answers to questions quickly
    • Empower business user visibility without IT involvement
    • Receive warnings in advance of a problem with AI-assisted anomaly detection

You'll also hear how IBM is investing in Sterling SCBN for the future in three areas:
    1. User experience
    2. Self-service configuration
    3. API integration
