    Hi All,
We have a requirement to leverage OKTA for B2Bi user authentication. Could you please let me know if any of you tried this? If so, please share some insights.

    Thanks for your support.

    Hi Rags,

I believe OKTA uses Oauth2 protocol. SI does not support Oauth2 authentication at this time, you would need to developed a custom service for this.

    Thanks

We are looking to integrate OKTA with B2B as well. However we use SSP and OpenLDAP for authentication into B2B/SFG. We heard from our vendor (an IBM partner) that it is possible to integrate OKTA. Our vendor stated they have worked with IBM on how to set it up. We haven't had a chance to implement but plan on doing some test configurations this year.

SAML 2.0 is supported on SSP 6.x. So, I believe OKTA can be implemented.

Per OKTA catalog IBM SFG is verified application- https://www.okta.com/integrations/ibm-sterling-file-gateway/.

    Thanks @Kharlon and @Rajasekhar Muthamsetty.

@Rajasekhar Muthamsetty: OKTA catalog says it can only SWA with SFG, SWA only enables a chicklet of SFG on OKTA page (more like bookmark) and SSO needs to be achieved by LDAP to AD. Yes, SAML option to be explored.
