    Hi Karimulla,

I didn't understand the question. If you are talking about IBM Sterling MFT then there are multiple products in that. IBM Sterling Connect Direct is one of the agent based software and the other one is MQFTE. Which software you are talking about?

Please explain your scenario so I can suggest you the right solution.

    Hello Bharat,

I want to Transfer files from One system to Another system (Bi-Directional).
For this I have to create new MFT Agent (Source side) , Target Side it is already Agent (MQ MFT Protocol Bridge Agent) Available. I need to establish connection to that Target agent.
Let me know what are the steps I need to follow.
Example: 1. Create Channels at destination. , 2. create queue source. ... etc.
I want to like this sequence of steps what commands to be done in source and destination ...

    Regards,
    Khaja.

    Hi Karimulla,

What MFT agent do you have on the source side? Do you have have WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition Agent Adapter(source side) on IBM Sterling B2B Integrator?

    Hello Kalyan,

I have source side Websphere MQ File Transfer Agent  (NOT Sterling). Target side I have MQ File Transfer Bridge Agent (running on Unix).
Let me know how to connect these two? what are the steps?

    Khaja.

    Hi Karimulla,

    Take a look at: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSFKSJ_7.5.0/com.ibm.wmqfte.doc/create_bridge_agent_cmd.htm

I think a bridge agent once configured looks the same as a standard MQFTE agent so outside of that - and configuring the bridge agent itself for the S/FTP/S server(s) it talks to - it should be no different.

Note that this community is focused on the IBM Sterling File Transfer solutions rather than MQ so I'm no expert on MQFTE, I suspect like most of those here. You can have SFG as the S/FTP/S server or Connect:Direct node for an MQFTE bridge agent, but as SFG can act as an MQFTE agent itself we recommend that route.

    Best regards,
    Richard.
