On behalf of Jeanette Barlow, Vice President Strategy & Offering Management, Supply Chain Solutions,  I'm thrilled to announce the launch of the IBM B2B Collaboration Community, an online space for you to connect with cross-industry peers using IBM B2B Integration and IBM Managed File Transfer solutions.

Our goal is to make this your go-to space for discussing challenges, exchanging best practices, and sharing your successes in working with our B2B Integration and Managed File Transfer technologies.  We're starting with an open community for all practitioners to discuss topics organized into two solution area: File Transfer and B2B Integration.  Many practitioners and IBMers volunteered as early adopters for this project, posting files, content and discussion topics to help get the conversation get started.

We look forward to your ideas about how we can make this community a valuable experience you can't do without. Until then, watch for a welcome post from our new community manager, Will Machlin, with more details about how you can get engaged.

    Warm regards,

Jeanette Barlow, Vice President Strategy & Offering Management, IBM Watson Supply Chain

Thanks to Jeanette Barlow for welcoming us all to the community! I'm Will Machin, your B2B Collaboration Community Manager and I'm so excited to be here!

Here are a few simple steps you can take to quickly take advantage of this new member benefit:

    1. Update your profile. Let everyone know who you are! Pro tip: Click the link to import your LinkedIn profile, which will save you the step of uploading your photo and bio again.  If you don't have a LinkedIn profile, simply enter your information on the profile page.
    2. Set your messaging preferences. We recommend getting a regular weekly email digest of community activities delivered to your email inbox. But if at any time you would like to change your messaging preferences, or if you'd like to opt out of receiving these emails altogether, visit the Community Notifications page to control your messaging preferences.
    3. Use the Member Directory to search for a few of your peers and send them a "Contact Request." If you're unsure on how to do this, search for me and send me a contact request by clicking the "Add as Contact" link next to my name in the search results.
    4. Start a discussion. If you have an industry or solution related question you'd like to ask your peers, introduce yourself and post your question in the B2B Integration Group or the File Transfer Group and watch the responses come in! You can also use the "post message" link you'll find in the discussion emails you'll receive from the Community.

If you have questions or suggestions for this new member benefit, please use the Contact Us link at the top of the page or email support@communitysite.ibm.com for assistance.

We look forward to your participation and will strive to make the IBM B2B Collaboration Community the best possible place to engage with your peers.

    Best,
