The theme for healthcare in 2021 across the world is interoperability and one set of standards which is fast emerging is HL7 FHIR. FHIR (pronounced FIRE) is valid both as XML and JSON and has some basic concepts to learn (resources, bundles, profiles, terminology servers) but once you learn the basics how will you incorporate this data into your systems?
