We are running B2B 5.2.6.3 on Windows 2012 servers. We pick up a file via FTP that is known to be encoded as UTF8. Once we have the file, we set the document encoding to UTF8 using the GetDocumentInfo service. We run the file through a translation where the encoding is set to UTF8 on both the input and output sides of the map. Now when we place the file in a mailbox to be picked up by our partner, the file seems to change to an encoding of CP1252. I have tried sending the file as an email and writing it to the file system and they also come up encoded as CP1252. Is this because we are running on Windows servers? Is there anything we can do to stop this from happening?
