I am the lead for my team. My specialties are all manner of IBM storage products in both hardware and SDS. Current products include SVC, FlashSystems, Storwize, and Spectrum Scale.
I have a BS degree in geophysics with a minor in geology. Geology is a life-long interest, although I was never able to make a career of it. But, as they say, once a geologist, always a geologist.
My "spiritual home" is the Big Bend region of West Texas. I get there every chance I get.
I have bipolar disorder. There is no shame in having a mental illness, but because there is still a stigma associated with it, I am quite open about it. Stigma kills, and anything, no matter how small, I can do to improve that is important.
