    Hi everyone,
From outside it looks like IBM is reorganizing the community knowledge - but some of the links are not working anymore. I'm interested in the SAN and Storage area - and one excellent recource in this field was Sebastian Thale's blog that was called if i recall correctly "seb's sanblog".
Sadly - it cannot be accessed anymore. Google points some references to it, but the links are all messed up. Any chance this could be set online again?
    Thanks in advance!
    Florin.

    Hi Florin,
Yes, developerWorks was closed. I'm not sure which of the articles should come back. Some more support-related topics might be re-published by my colleague Serge Monney and he already did some: https://smos.home.blog/

As a (admittedly very slow) interims solution you can see the last snapshot of the page before it went offline in the Internet Archive:
    https://web.archive.org/web/20191231040547/https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/blogs/sanblog?lang=en

Are there any specific articles you are looking for and find worthy to re-publish?

    Cheers,
    seb

    Hi Sebastian,
I didn't actually expect you to find this post and reply personally to it, that's awesome!
Hard to remember from memory all the useful topics from your blog that I used in the past in my SAN work - what stands out was a particular topic on how to calculate the average frame size on ISLs (and further use that for correctly allocating the buffers) - if I recall correctly. Something else that was very interesting, the slow drain devices - I found it already onSerge Monney's blog - by the way, thanks for pointing that out, will take me a few days to go through all the SAN topics there.
Hope the rest of the articles that are still valid from a current SAN perspective will find their way in the new blog.
Cheers and good luck in the new role!

    Hi Konrad,

sorry, I totally missed this. I allowed Serge to "recycle" my posts where he sees them fit his blog. That also means he might update them with current information.
IBM's plan is to use IBM community as a replacement for dW, which also means that we don't have individual blogs anymore but can contribute to the platform.

    Cheers,
    seb
