Hi,
If it is not there, you should submit an RFE
https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=changeRequestLanding&BRAND_ID=352&PROD_ID=360&x=20&y=15Or, use nagios (or similar) to monitor 1500/tcp remote, or check for running tasks like 'DB2/dsmserv' on the local system.
I think a remote system that does a scheduled dsmc q sess is a nice test to monitor Spectrum Protect
Have a look at adsm.org, maybe someone got another solution there
Happy monitoring,

Subject: Can we Get alert for TSM Server Down
Hi All,
Can we get the alerts on email from operation center specifically when my TSM server is halted or is down for unknown reason. I have added ANR0169E into alert area but not sure that will give me the result which i am expecting.
