    Hi,

    We are running SAP HANA v2.0 on RedHat v7.5 and backing up with IBM Spectrum Protect for Enterprise Resource Planning Data Protection for SAP HANA v8.1.4 to ISP server v.8.1.6.

    How does the expiration work?

    Starting with 8.1.4 you can set profile parameter MAX_VERSIONS to specify how many backup generations (a full database backup and associated redo logs) shall be retained. Obsolete versions will be deleted automatically.     For MDC environments please note APAR IT25772 DP FOR SAP HANA DOES NOT DELETE OBSOLETE BACKUP VERSIONS IN MDC ENVIRONMENTS
