To kick things off, Dave Rossi will start the session with a discussion of Mainframe and your Security Intelligence Platform. Dave Rossi is an IBM Cyber Security Architect and comes with 20 years of experience in mainframe innovation. This session will help you understand mainframe security events and the basis for how mainframe security events can be transmitted and ingested into a centralized security platform.

Our next topic will be a RACF Update from Anton Neimand. Anton Neimand is an IBM cyber security specialist and runs the RACF user group. This session will examine the new RACF features available on the latest releases of z/OS. Topics will include multi-factor authentication, RACF parmlib support, FLAC enhancements, enhanced generic owner, pervasive encryption and more!  

Next, hear about Continuous Value for Performance and Capacity with the new z/VM 7.1 from Bill Bitner. Bill comes with 25 years of z/VM performance evaluation experience. With z/VM 7.1 becoming available September 21, 2018, Bill will cover the new era of z/VM Performance and two value areas z/VM 7.1 will benefit, scalability and management of diverse workloads. He will also discuss approaches for related capacity planning of those areas and performance management.
