The concept of Hi-Def Data Security pertains to the evolving landscape of data security and the fact that the complexity of this landscape requires a collaborative approach. There's an ever-growing multitude of threats that span touch points across customer environments. To combat this growing and shape-shifting threat, it’s necessary for vendors to join forces to protect crown jewels from any and all threats. This is why Forcepoint and Guardium are banding together and integrating on a common goal of data loss prevention and protection across customer environments from cloud and endpoint (Forcepoint side) to server (Guardium side). At an early stage the integration will deal with Forcepoint sending Guardium analytics details around risky user behavior on endpoints so Guardium can set data protection policies to protect these critical assets from various threats. Steve Cumings (VP of PM for Forcepoint) and I presented this content at THINK and will present again next week at RSA. We're at the early stages of the integration so we're still getting customer feedback and sizing development effort.
