Hi Akashkumar,
For designating backup CM, please note, all patches installed after the latest GPU in the primary CM needs to be the same(even same order) on the backup CM, refer to below:
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/guardium-backup-cm-does-not-appear-when-designating-backup-cmFor the collector you are attempting to register in CM, it is better to make sure it is in same patch level with CM. Also note, they should have same system shared secret. Refer to:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/guardium/10.6?topic=installation-registering-units. We'll recommend to register from CM.
Hope it helps.

Subject: How to Incorporate(Associate) Different Guardium Managed Environment to Existing one
Hello Seniors, Hope all is well.
I know this is silly question. But, I have a situation where we have two different Guardium Appliances Managed Environment. both have their CM and Collectors.
Now, we want to marge them into one single Managed Environment and want to make one of it's CM to Backup of existing CM.(As we do not have any Backup CM right now).
Also, what are the pre-requisites OR points we need to ensure for smooth transition. I think we need to check the connectivity between this appliances as well. Not sure.
Request if someone can guide me OR share some Tech Notes. Thanks so much in advance. Really appreciate your help N Support.
