  • 1.  Slow logon to collectors

    Hello

I have a problem that has persisted for several weeks and is beginning to worry me seriously. I need your support to help me solve it. This problem is blocking a large extension project at the customer's site.

It's a terrible slowness when logging on collectors only. No problem on the CM-Aggregator.

On the login window, I enter the admin account and its password, after almost 2mn Gardium asks me to re-enter the password without any error message. I sometimes have to make more than 30 attempts to connect: wait 2 mn and retype the password.

    The installed version is 11.1

While trying to connect, I see that Guardium is downloading something from download4.boudler.ibm.com, I don't know if it has anything to do with the problem. I have no knowledge of this IBM site.

    Thank you for your help

    Do you use LDAP authentication?

Standard UI user passwords (not LDAP) are synchronized but its evaluation is made locally, so problem is not rather related to that.
However problem with connectivity between collectors and CM can lead to this behavior because orphaned collectors reject any UI login.
So please check communication between them.

    Hello

Thank you Zibi for the answer. No LDAP is not used

I am not a network expert and I have difficulty diagnosing the network configuration, I work with remote access.

In your opinion, should the 'show network routes operational' command return the same information from the collector and the aggregator. I see that it is the same on both collectors and different on the aggregator. According to the network team the three devices on the same switch
