  • 1.  Secure Mail Bug after latest iOS update

    Hi,

    I've had a user that recently updated their iOS version to the latest version.

    Since then, whenever they try to open Secure Mail, it opens a web page with a dialog box that says "Open this page in "MaaS360"?"

    If the user clicks on "Open", Secure Mail does open, but this takes about 5s and is an unexpected workflow for a User.


    Is there any way I can correct this from the Portal?

    Does this happen when they try to launch the app directly or is it only when an external source is attempting to open the MaaS360 agent via share extensions?

    Hi Matt,

    It happens when the user opens Secure Mail directly, via a shortcut on the home screen of the device.

    We are tracking an ongoing issue with iOS 13.4 and it seems like it's the same as what you are experiencing here - we are working with Apple engineering teams to get to the root cause.  You can contact our support team to open a ticket for tracking progress towards a resolution.  I don't have an ETA that I can provide here just yet, but I will monitor the situation and provide updates when I can.

    It would appear that this issue will be resolved in iOS 13.4.5 - this is currently in beta (we generally don't get an ETA for GA release, so keep an eye out for updates).
