I have a question about the backup site configuration. In fact I have a customer with a main site on which he has
- 6 Oracle servers
- 2 collectors in ELB
- 1 CM - Aggregator
- Replication of database storage between the main site and the backup site
In the event of a switch to the backup site, the Oracle backup servers take the IP address of the main servers, so that no changes are made to the users during the switchover.
The customer has provided a single guardium appliance for the backup site, he intends to use it in case of failover.
I would like to know if it is possible to use a Guardium appliance configured in standalone to back up the collectors, the aggregator and the CM.
Personally I think that at least two appliances should be used on the backup site: an aggregator and a collector - CM
The customer needs to find a solution using a single appliance on the backup site.
Can someone help me...
