  • 1.  Compatibility matrix - GDE Agent - Oracle Linux rel7 with Oracle 11i Database

    Hi Security Team,

    Good Day!

    I have a requirement to encrypt Oracle Linux Server running on release 7.0 and they are using Oracle DB 11i. Could anyone please confirm which version will be supported on the server.

    DSM is on 6.02.

    Please suggest

    Hi,
    Do you ask about vee agent (File and Folder encryption)?
    If yes, there is no requirements for applications working on Linux. (btw Oralce 11i is EoL in Oracle ;) )

    OEL 7.x is fully supported by GDE

    Yes. This will be File and Folder encryption (DB Files) with ext4 filesystem. Oracle Version 11.2.0.4

    Yes. This is for simple encryption (VTE) of File and Folder encryption (DB Files) with ext4 filesystem. Oracle Version 11.2.0.4.
