I miss the developerWorks community dedicated to zSecure (here).  There was such a wealth of useful information there and I feel it is a shame that it was closed down by IBM.

Is there a publicly accessible archive of all the great questions and answers posted there?

    Hi Andrew,

are you aware that there is information about the IBM Security zSecure suite in the IBM Knowledge Center?
For your convenience, here's a link:

Thank you for expressing the sentiments I had as well.  As Tom pointed out, the Knowledge Center packs a load of information, including URLs leading to more data sources.  One is the Support Forums: zSecure  where many of the old Forum entries from dW are saved (a parcel of wealth, to borrow your words).
Also, as Tom pointed out, the Wiki along with a self-paced CARLa training  can be found from the Table of Contents left on the display, selecting the bottom element.
Are there any elements from dW that you cannot find in the KC?

    Hi Andrew,

    I understand your sentiment.

BTW, the link in your message seems to be a redirected one; I take it you meant the zSecure Technical Forum referenced in the bottom entry of the last page in the Library section.

We had an internal discussion about the best migration path last year around this time. Some groups in IBM wanted to continue those discussions here on Community, others preferred the new Support forum that Rob linked to. Our Level 2 support went through the threads from the previous two years and selected the most relevant ones for migration to the Support forum. You should be able to find them there under their original dates. The other information is not externally accessible, but if there is something in particular you remember that you miss, we can probably locate it for you.

We posted a message to continue the discussion here on Community relatively early in that process. As the Support forum was still being improved at the time, and the threads had not been migrated yet, we decided to leave it at that for a bit. I am not sure we ever communicated explicitly that the threads had been migrated; we might have dropped the ball there.

Besides the technical community, developerWorks also used to host the zSecure wiki. What we deemed the main content there was migrated into the zSecure Knowledge Center.

And I think about a year before these migrations started, the Blogs section here has already superseded use of the "Service Management Connect - System z" blog on developerWorks that we had used before that point. By the end of last year we completed migrating some old entries to here [under their original dates]. I also decided to rewrite a few.

    Best regards,

Thanks to Tom, Rob and Jeroen for all answering my question.  I have found the 'old' forum entries and there is quite a bit of information in the replies.
