  • 1.  Question concerning CKFCOLL

    All

I'm fairly new to zSecure. I have a question concerning running CKFCOLL. We have a daily running batchjob implemented for a long time.
Since taking over from my predeccessor, I started to have a closer look at the joblog. I'm stumbling over the following entry:

CKF0002 04 LOCATE return code 8 on JCLLIB data set SYS5.&CTIREL..&SYSNAME..PROCLIB
CKF0002 04 LOCATE return code 8 on JCLLIB data set SYS5.&CTIREL..SYSP.PROCLIB
CKF0002 04 LOCATE return code 8 on JCLLIB data set SYS5.&CTIREL..SYSS.PROCLIB
CKF0002 04 LOCATE return code 8 on JCLLIB data set SYS5.&CTIREL..SYSM.PROCLIB
CKF0002 04 LOCATE return code 8 on JCLLIB data set SYS5.&CTIREL..&SISPLEX..I00.PROCLIB
CKF0002 04 LOCATE return code 8 on JCLLIB data set SYS5.&CTIREL..T1.I01.PROCLIB
CKF0002 04 LOCATE return code 8 on JCLLIB data set SYS5.CTI902.T1.I01.PROCLIB

Can somebody help me in wrapping my head around what this exactelly means, and what I have to do to correct the situation?
BTW: &CTIREL resolves to "CTI902", &SYSNAME resolves to "SYSL" and &SYSPLEX resolves to "PLEXWA02"

    Help would be highly appreciated.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Regards

    Hi franco

collect scans all the members in the proclib's it found for JCLLIB statements. The datasets in those JCLLIB statements then get a sensitivity assigned. But if the datasetname contains a system symbol it doesnt appear to be resolved.  And we end up with CKF0002 message saying that (ofcourse) it cannot find it.

tried it myself with exactly the same results.

you can suppress the CKF0002 if you want to or open a defect

    cheers

    Hi Rene

Thanks a lot for the reply.
This helped me to understand the process flow, and I was able to solve my problem.
In this particular case, the JCLLIB statements where wrongly entered.
Therefore we will not suppress CKF0002 and there is no need for us to open a defect report.

    This case can be closed.

Thanks a lot for your support.
