Hi team,

I would like to try a mail connection from Resilient using an integration without having to use the out of the box inbound email connector, which means building everything from scratch. In fact, the out of the box inbound email connector makes it difficult to build incident and child type workflows around incoming emails using integrations.

The thing is conection has to the mailbox via imap has to be launched every now and then to check whether there is a new email in the mailbox, the old irhub service used to do that but with the new versions of Resilient I don't know whether this is still doable. In a few words, I want to be able to have my imap connection script as part of an integration package and to be able to launch it every now and then without having to use a cron job.

Any already existing integrations that already does similar things or do without Resilient out of the box connector?

Having reached out to the team I am advised that we don't have any email integrations that uses IMAP or that runs a poller to check for incoming emails.
