  • 1.  Cell phone network operator transfer

    Hi!

    My customer will be transferring their phone services to a different network operator during the upcoming holidays. Phone numbers will be retained, but I do not know if the SIM cards will have to be replaced.

    Do you know what implications this will have, if any, given that their Samsung and iPhone phones are enrolled in MaaS360 with Android Work Profile and iPhone Device Enrollment respectively?

    Must any actions be performed on the devices or in the MaaS360 portal?

    Hi Arne,

    There shouldn't be any impact to management as long as the devices are not being factory reset as part of this process.  The info in the portal should remain and as long as there are no compliance actions for SIM changes, nothing (from the MaaS360 side) needs to be done.  If there are compliance rules monitoring SIM changes, it would probably be worthwhile to disable those until the transition is complete.
