I have configured a MaaS360 set up with DEP and VPP. A number of devices enrolled correctly with all instant install app distributions working as required. However there are a number of devices which have a different behavior. During the enrollment process some or all of the apps set for distribution do not auto install, in spite of the correct configuration for these apps. Again, other enrollments and app installations for this MaaS install behave as required. I have to go into the App Catalog and click install there. These are new iPad mini 5's fresh out of the box, all running iOS 13.
Further, even when all apps have installed on the device, can be opened etc...... the MaaS dashboard reports these apps as "pending installation". I have refreshed the DEP token and VPP token with no joy. I have refreshed the MaaS app on the devices with no joy and I have done a device refresh from the dashboard for the specific device with no joy. I have rebooted the devices with no joy.
As a result the ability to remotely remove the app is not there, because the app(s) in question do not appear in "installed Apps".
Any thoughts on this?
