Hi Bryn,
The "Checked In" status refers specifically to devices that are leveraging geofencing rules. "Checked In" means the device is located within a defined geographical location. As for locations in general, we hold on to historical locations for 90 days, so for a device that hasn't checked in for this length of time, we're not going to have any reliable data. If that device is still enrolled and were to hit any network (cellular or wifi) it would check back in with our services, but given the length of time it's been offline, it would be safe to assume that the device has either had control removed, been disposed of, or simply been forgotten about in a drawer somewhere.

Subject: Location search
Hi all,
Customer of mine trying to get a location on a device that last reported June 2019. All devices enrolled in Enterprise mode on DO. Location services are ON and policy location settings are High Accuracy with the end user unable to turn off.
Couple of questions:
- Is there a limit on how long MaaS will retain log history (like location)?
- Can you see any reason why the below advanced search I'm running for the client returns zero devices?
