  • 1.  Knox Enrollment DO JSON setting not applying

    Hi,

    We're configuring and using knox enrollment with a DO profile. The JSON applied in KME includes the corporateID, enrollment type and enrollment email address details etc.

    None of these settings are applied during the enrollment process. As we have configured the CorporateID and email address we where expecting them to be auto populated during the enrollment process. EG As they are when a manual enrollmetnt request is sent out.

    Is this a bug OR a feature? Has anyone managed to get this working?

    Hi Kerry,

    There is currently a limitation on the JSON piece where it will only recognize the user information if every field is filled out (Corp ID, Username, Password, etc).  If any of those fields are left blank, then the app will default to a standard enrollment which requests the user fill in all fields. We're looking to enhance that over the next few releases if I'm not mistaken - I'll try to get you some specific dates if possible.

    Hi Kerry,
    Just wanted to provide an update - it looks like our Android 7.10 agent will resolve this issue.  It's currently in beta, slated for GA in a few weeks.  Once it goes live, I'll leave another note here so you can test.
