  • 1.  Dropbox with User enrollment issues

Hey! I am hoping someone can provide some assistance. We are enrolling devices into MaaS360 with the "User enrollment" mode. The dropbox app gets deployed and as soon as you open the app, it shows a "device storage is full" page. Unable to even sign into the app. I am trying to confirm the issue is with the user enrollment mode or dropbox app itself or if I need to be configuring something else to prevent the app from thinking the device storage is full. Anyone else out there use dropbox with user enrollment mode?

    Hi Ryan
Just to say starting that there have been some concerns about integration with DropBox given discovered security vulnerabilities. You can read more about this on the blog below - I highly recommend that you do so as a starting point.

Following on from this, are you expecting users from Dropbox to be able to access personal data within DropBox storage, from their mobile device? If so you may need to set up an app connection.

Let me know how you get on.

    Hey, Eamonn!

Well, we are using MaaS360 to manage BYOD iPhones. The devices will get enrolled using user enrollment and a handful of apps will be installed which dropbox is one of them. As soon as you open the app though, it believes the iPhone storage is full when it is not. This only seems to happen when using the user enrollment mode. Managed Mode works fine but we are wanting to leverage the user enrollment mode due to the partitioning off the corporate data/apps functionality.
