Hi Jeremy, in response:
1. If no data plan is assigned then it won't be counted. You need to create a data plan (Expense > Data plans) and assign it to a device or group of devices.
Data usage is recorded on a device anyway but it won't report up to the portal if not being tracked.
2. Yes the app must be running to get that data capture from the device, and it must run when the nightly upload needs to happen (midnight London time = 7pm ET).

Are there any instances/scenarios where cellular data used on an iOS device will not be tracked via MaaS360?
If the MaaS360 app is never opened on an iOS device, will MaaS360 still pull cellular data usage to the portal?
