    Hello Experts,

    I have taken a backup of my events records (including payloads) from /store/ariel/events/records/ and /store/ariel/events/payloads/, i want to upgrade my qradar from 7.3.3 to 7.4.2, can I restore the backup events records to this upgraded version (7.4.2) without any issues?

    what are you trying to achieve? migration from host A to B? server change?
    Why not just upgrading your installation? Even in a migration scenario you can use standard backup including data backup for restore on your new host.
    Make sure you have got config backups, CMT export and snapshots of your install.

    Once you started messing around with /store/ariel/events/records/ and /store/ariel/events/payloads/ there are many options to get in trouble.
    Keep in mind this is a proprietary database not just a FS. So pls make sure you got plan B!
