Changing Database IP, STAP and GIM IP address to new collector

    Hi Everyone,

    I have a customer with below requirement:

    Customer is running databases in windows & Linux that based on VM ware at DC.
    If DC is down, they will restore same database at DR by changing IP address with the help of VM Snapshots.
    So In this scenario, If we change the IP address(SOFTWARE_TAP_HOST=1.1.1.1 & SQLGUARD_IP=2.2.2.2) in Guard_tap.ini manually, does it point out to new collector at DR site collector without any issues?
    If we need to change IP address for GIM communication to DR Collector, which file should we edit?

    Will above scenario gives successful results by changing new Database IP and Collector IP for GIM and STAP files?

    Please suggest, it is very urgent.

    The effective parameter should be tap_ip.

    If it is temporary switch, the GIM can leave it without changing, unless it is permanent or you plan to upgrade the STAP using GIM.
