    Hello.
I failed to install Guardium 11.2 (DAM) on VMWare ESXi 6.0. After the installation Guardium reboots and when I try to enter cli for the first time using cli user I get such error:

    localhost login: cli
    Password
Warning: Can't connect to local MySQL server
    The cli database login failed

I don't have access to cli so I don't have an opportunity to reboot mysql. I didn't change the default cli user password.

The type of OS in the settings of VMWare virtual machine is RHEL 7 (64 bit). Reboot and reinstallation don't help.
What is the reason of such strange issue?

    Hi Igor Volkov,

Everything you did is perfect. it might cause problem because of the hardware specifications is not met. does it meet below requirement?
Ram: 24gb(minimum during installation) and 32 gb recommended
CPU: 4 vCPU cores minimum and 8 vCPU is recommended
    hard disk: minimum 300 gb

note: once installation is successful you can reduce ram to 21 gb and also 16 gb is minimum to up.

    Hi Igor,
Looks that installer (anaconda) fails somewhere during installation.
There is many reasons of this situation - for example the ISO file is not consistent

I suggest re-download appliance ISO and very carefully observe the appliance screen during installation.

Your MySQL instance is not able to start and meassage on installation console should provide more informaton about the reason.

The ISO image file was consistent, I checked the md5sum of the file.
I succeeded to install Guardium 11.2 on VMWare ESXi 6.0 after changing SCSI controller 0 setting of the virtual machine from LSI Logic Parallel to VMWare Paravirtual.
Guardium 11.2 succeeded to install on VMWare ESXI 6.5u1 even with SCSI controller 0 settings set to LSI Logic Parallel
