    Hi Everyone,

Can anyone give me IBM link for reference about GIM and STAP's Ram, CPU utilization in Windows or Linux or AIX or UNIX end?
One of my customer is asking for reference.

    Thanks,

Check out the information in the Guardium Knowledge Center. Here are some links (using V11.2 knowledge center-- you can easily switch to another version):

Hi, for CPU utilization the link below should provide a useful reference for the client:

    https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSMPHH_11.2.0/com.ibm.guardium.doc.stap/stap/managing_stap_windows.html

It states that the STAP typically accounts for 1-3% of CPU utilization so this should mean that if the database etc. is utilizing 70% of CPU then the STAP will likely be 1-3% of the 70%

    In addition for Femi answer

    STAP:

RAM - the buffer can be meaningful element of memory consumption but Unix and Windows agents implements advanced mechanism to release it if possible (new Windows 11.3 agent implements completely new memory management approach)

CPU: you can define thresholds for automatic restart and even stop STAP service in case of significant CPU utilization

    GIM:

it is Perl service which provides remote agent administration interface - the CPU and RAm utilization is minimal all the time.
