Hello IBM Community,
I am reaching out on behalf of colleagues who operate a large greenhouse complex. They are currently searching for an AI-powered monitoring system to address two key challenges:
1. Accurate prediction of crop yield.
2. Early and reliable detection of diseases in tomato crops.
Their goal is to increase efficiency and reduce losses through data-driven insights.
We are aware of IBM's strong capabilities in AI and are particularly interested in the IBM Watson Agricultural Platform. Could you please advise if it provides solutions for such specific greenhouse needs?
- Are there ready-to-use models for tomato disease detection (e.g., using computer vision)?
- Can the platform integrate with sensor data from greenhouses (climate, irrigation) to predict yields?
We would appreciate any information, links to case studies, or guidance on where to start.
Thank you in advance for your help!
