    I have the extended Java Edition of Rational developer for I,   and I have active software maintenance via Passport advatage

    I cannot download the 9.8 version from passport advatage (not showing up)  IBM are telling me I have to repurchase the 9.8 edition as there is no Upgrade to 9.8 from the version I have,   Has anyone else come across this.    It seem extremely unfair that I cannot get 9.8 simply because purchased and always paid software maintenance the more advanced version,  I can not get 9.8 without paying for the ull product again
