Other things to consider..
1). The HMCs have multiple network connections. The network your Power hosts are on should not be accessible from anywhere else (don’t have a router at .1 (or whatever) that routes off the network, HMC and power systems should be only thing on that network
The other network connections on the HMC can go to “public” networks. (Those that a user could come in to the web interface, or ssh over).
2) Have redundant HMCs configured.
If you get hit with ransomware, if you can get to the HMC, physically or over a network, then the power system consoles should be accessible.

Our HMC is working fine (except memory leak), but if it would be unavailble - is there a way to access an lpar console?
Today I use the vtmenu from the HMC, but it would be good to know how to do it wihout it. In a case of a ransomware, the network may be down, so the HMC would not be useful (even with multiple hmc's).
