    Hello,

    Need your assistance in samba error.
    Getting error in samba.

    [2022/09/23 14:05:37, 0] lib/util_sock.c:get_peer_addr_internal(1676)
    getpeername failed. Error was A socket must be already connected.
    read_socket_with_timeout: client 0.0.0.0 read error = A socket must be already connected..
    [2022/09/23 14:05:37, 1] smbd/service.c:make_connection_snum(1134)
     connect to service ofd1comn initially as user test22 (uid=214, gid=1) (pid 6554682)
    [2022/09/23 14:05:37, 0] lib/util_sock.c:read_socket_with_timeout(939)
    [2022/09/23 14:05:37, 0] lib/util_sock.c:get_peer_addr_internal(1676)
    getpeername failed. Error was A socket must be already connected.

    We have a below samba fileset in our AIX server ( Version:7100-05-10-2220 ) 

    #lslpp -L | grep samba
    samba.base 3.3.12.0 C F Samba for AIX
    samba.license 3.3.12.0 C F Samba for AIX
    samba.man.en_US 3.3.12.0 C F Samba for AIX

    That Samba version that you run here is 12 years old and it has numerous unfixed bugs and security issues. You should move to an up-tp-date version. See https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_Release_Planning to get an idea, which versions have been supported.

    Apart of that the lines that you see here are harmless. They come from clients connecting to port 445 and 139 simultaneously and closing one of the connections then again.
