Hello,
with AIX 7100-04-04 i had install rpm packages from Perzl distribution.
After Upgade to 7200-05-01 i have problems with sudo (After entering Password i get "Sorry, try again.").
I deside to change my installation with packeges from Linux Toolsbox.
With the "destroyRPMS.sh" i removed the old installtion.
After this rpm.rte is installed again. Also i installed the nessacery packeges for sudo.
sudo is working now. Sudo version 1.9.5p2
Why does rpm verfiy reports file mode
difference? # rpm --verify sudo
S.5....T. c /etc/sudoers
.M....... /etc/sudoers.d
.M....... /opt/freeware/libexec/sudo
.M....... /opt/freeware/libexec64/sudo
.M....... /var/lib/sudo
.M....... /var/lib/sudo/lectured
.M....... /var/run/sudo
I observed this behavior for the first time after the AIX ugrade to 7200-04-02 Since perzl packeges were still installed there, I suspected that this was what caused it.
