The issue I had is that I could not choose the Server adapter slot number (adapter ID in Classic UI). The HMC appoints the next available one.  This does not work for us as we want the fibers channel devices to be above ID 20... Once created, I saw no way to edit the device, other then going to the Profile it self. That action deactivates the "Save configuration changes to profile".

The option to select the adapter ID when editing the connection does not work

Another thing I just noted. Once the LPAR is booted up, I cannot add a new virtual storage device ? The button is greyed out.

To select the server adapter id, you can use the Edit Connections option while adding the Virtual Storage Device. You can specify the server slot id to be used. Yes you are right. The RMC connection is not functional..

    Tks.

Deleting Virtual Fibre Channel Devices seems to be pretty buggy.
