Are there any AIX minimum requirements for FW950_072 on E950?

  • 1.  Are there any AIX minimum requirements for FW950_072 on E950?

    My client created mksysb images of AIX7.2TL03SP03 and AIX7.4TL04SP02 for a new E950 server.
    These images were installed succefully E950 with FW930_035 but  failed on E950 with FW 950_072(latest FW).

    Could you give me any ideas on this part?  The mksysb AIX levels meet the minimum requirement level for  E950.
    Are there any AIX minimum requirements for FW950_072 on E950?

    The minimum memory requirement for AIX 7.2 is 2GB. What error message or LED code is displayed when it fails?

    The LED code was "0518" but the backup images were worked successfully on E950 with VM930_035.

    Have you tried to recover from the led code 518, using the steps outlined here? https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/repairing-file-systems-fsck-aix-led-517-or-518

    We have found a clue to solve the problem.
    There was an AIX minimum required level in the USB adatper of E950 with FW 950_072(latest FW). The USB adapter on  E950 with FW930_035 was different, not an FW problem.

    Anyway, thank you to everyone who has helped in this matter.
