An Enterprise Architect, covering the whole spectrum of Middleware, Solution / Infrastructure Architecture and Service Oriented Architecture. I have over 47 years IT experience (39 with IBM) including systems engineering, technology specialist, worldwide SOA specialist, Chief Architect and a number of other roles, culminating in my present role of Senior Enterprise Architect for Gulf Business Machines (GBM) the Sole Partner for IBM in the Middle East, based in Dubai, UAE.
I have Senior Technical Management and Executive experience having spent 20 months as the CTO and Chief Architect with Orbital Integrated Solutions, a Premier IBM Business Partner (IBM UK Partner of the Year - 2013) before joining Lockheed Martin in the UK as the Chief Architect on a very large capture programme leading to a 9-year SI contract to replace a very large Command and Control Legacy System for the London Metropolitan Police Service with a new solution.
More recently for 2½ years, I was the Chief Architect at Emirates Airlines responsible for the Architecture for a large modernisation programme of the whole Emirates Passenger Services Platform.
Having completed the Architecture work at Emirates, in September of 2017, I moved to GBM as the Regional Senior Enterprise Architect.
