For our GIS... in Maximo is there any limitation on GIS and Sites based on either feature classes or layers??
looks like our Business Units (BUs) are using diff layers  and feature classes structures...
we want to make BUs as sites... but apparently there is limitation in Maximo ... that is one site can only use one layer / business class... so in this scenario,, the GIS cannot be used across multiple sites...
this is apparently stopping us from using one org multi-site setup
    Any ideas??

Guessing that you are using Maximo Spatial then and ESRI.

Question 1:  Are the Bus "truly" different Sites?  Always a good question to answer completely first.  Do they plan and execute work independently?  Are their Assets managed independently?  What about inventory.

If they are, then the best answer is probably to have BU Specific Map Servers on the ESRI Side, and be BU-specific in naming the GIS Objects.

    Thanks for your time,
