I have searched the internet, IBM Forums and other resources and I have not be able to find ANY information from ANYONE on this subject. Is the use of Smart Cards not done in the DOORS arena? It seems odd to me that I can't get any useful information or even thoughts from the world on this subject. Is it something we are not to discuss or what? I know that I just posted about this but honestly if no one even has a good solid reference on this topic there is something I must be missing.

You can configure Rational® DOORS® so that users can only log on by using smart cards or certificates.
Rational DOORS supports logging on by using smart cards that are based on the following technologies:
    • Public key infrastructure (PKI), which was introduced in 9.3.0.0
    • Windows user authentication, which was introduced in 9.3.0.1
    • Microsoft Certificate Store (MCS), which was introduced in 9.3.0.3
Starting in version 9.3.0.4, you can log on by using certificates in the keystore. This method of logging on follows the same process as the process for PKI cards, except the certificate is not stored on a smart card.
