The Maximo UK & Ireland User Group has become one of the leading voices in the global Maximo arena. Since 2008, we have been bringing together users, business partners, and IBM, to deliver user groups focused on educating Maximo users on best use of this powerful asset management tool. Covering a wide range of industries (including transport, petrochem, electricity, pharma, facilities management) the user group tries to share best practice, explore opportunities, and feed back into the IBM development stream.
On November 29th, right after the IAM Asset Management Conference, we will be meeting at the Avonmouth conference centre in London. The keynote speech will be from John Woodhouse, known to many of us as a globally recognised asset management though leader. John will speak to us on "The EAM system – an active value contributor, or just a necessary overhead?"
Kim Woodbury from IBM in the United States will give an update on the development roadmap for Maximo. This will be followed by user presentations on real-life experiences of upgrading and deploying Maximo. Delegates will then have the opportunity to 'speed date' a number of Maximo experts on various subjects. This will give you the chance to bring real-life issues to the table, and share them with your peers. A round-up session will allow the experts to share their solutions and advice on all of these issues. So the day will be an invaluable opportunity to meet with other Maximo users as well as the problem solvers that can help your business get the most from Maximo. Entry is free, but you do need to register! Registration is now open at Maximo UK & Ireland registration . Spaces are limited, so please sign-up early!
