Hi All - we have recently upgraded to Maximo 7.6.06 with WebSphere version 126.96.36.199 and we are seeing issues with Garbage Collection - just wondering if anyone else has seen the same?
Our GC policy is balanced (-Xgcpolicy:balanced)
The issue we are seeing is that GC is not running as expected on all servers. The pause time is more on the GC cycles.
Any help or suggestions welcome
The GC behaviour/frequency will be determined by what is happening on the JVM.
Are you checking it against other indicators of activity e.g. the mboset counts?
Are the GC pauses at a level that they are affecting the users?
Feel free to email me directly (or via Bernie) if you want to chat about it. I can probably do a bit of log analysis as well.
