Published on October 13, 2016 / Updated on November 27, 2018 In this tutorial we introduce you to the new LoopBack Request node that has been provided in IBM Integration Bus 10.0.0.6 and we demonstrate how your flows can easily interact with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Cloudant Gregg Hatt recently published an article, ‘A basic introduction to using the LoopBack Request node’ which provides a simple example introducing how to use the LoopBack Request node to retrieve documents from MongoDB, a no-SQL database, and the setup that’s necessary to achieve that, which complements this tutorial. This new feature allows you to easily interact with external services without needing to configure extra nodes in your message flow. Simon Stone recently published a blog post ‘ Consuming REST APIs by using the new REST Request nodes in IBM Integration Bus’ which complements this tutorial.
