"Aspera Server" : This is a generic term. It is neither a component , nor a product. What it CAN mean is: a server component in the Aspera software suite, or sometimes people use this term to designate an "Aspera Transfer Server" which is a generic term that can designate the component HSTS (High Speed Transfer Server) and HSTE (Endpoint).
"Aspera Enterprise Server": This term is the name of a product that used to be sold standalone, there were several flavors depending on options on it, "Connect Server", "High Speed Transfer Server" were also standalone products (with a part number that could be purchased). Many client still own such product and maintain it. It can be tradedup to "Aspera Enterprise" which is a bundle as Ben mentioned.
So what's the difference ? difficult to say between apple and banana.
First find out the context and try to figure out the right term to use:
- Transfer Server : to designate the server part in a Aspera FASP-based transfer (HSTS/HSTE)
- Enterprise Server : The old part number for that is now a component of a bundle: HSTS
- Aspera Enterprise: the bundle as Ben described
