    Hello colleagues,
IHS usage in IIBV10 was documented and there was ability to generate plugin config. Now in V12 documentation just doesn't mention IHS at all. Is it still supported? Could we still use it as Load Balancer?

    Hi Dmitry,

In v10 and below we had a cross support statement between IHS and IIB to assist clients with any problems they had in this area.  In v11, partial support was available as the ACE technology changed and generating the plugin was not possible.  In v12, the code no longer exists.  Only a few clients have inquired about this since v11 was released.  We already have an internal action to see if the cross support statement is still active or not.  The statement is specific to an IIB/ACE generated plugin.

IHS is still supported and you can still use it as a load balancer.  However, we do not offer a method for generating the plugin.  If you add ACE to your IHS config manually, IHS would still support this.

If you have the old IIB plugin and you did not change ports/hosts when you moved to ACE, the plugin should continue to work in IHS.  You can also update the plugin manually if changes were made.

    Thanks Mattew!
Maybe you could share your stats: what kind(i.e. vendors) of load balancers do you see mostly on customers?
