  • 1.  User authentication between OCP & CP4I

    How does the authentication of users which are created in OCP with a cluster edit role gets synched with the CP4I when you login using openshift authentication.

    We kind of facing issue with "You are not authorized to see this page" kind of errors in CP4I navigators and forced to add the same users in the CP4I admin console and define a role to them.   Can you please help us in synching the OCP users with CP4I with the same permission across the cluster. CP4I version 2020.3.0 & OCP version 4.4.

    Hi,

    There is currently no synchronisation from OCP RBAC roles to CP4I roles. One way to synchronise would be to use an LDAP group to define both the people with access to OpenShift resources, and the Team within CP4I that has access, so that the same set of users is managed by the same resource.
