I have my mq cluster running on aws using my own architecture, but I need to reconstruct it to a particular architecture provided by both aws and ibm as a partner, here you can find the architecture IBM MQ on AWS - Quick Start (amazon.com), this approach have the cloudformation template saying that we should provide a license for IBM Mq, So now my question , Can I use my existing license for the new infrastructure or I need to buy a new? and also I am gonna do a reverse engineering and gonna create the same infrastructure using terraform, Am I able to do that? Am I going to miss any feature if I do it in terraform instead of cloudformation.

As part of the IBM BYOSL policy you can use your existing MQ entitlement on AWS. You can deploy MQ in AWS using a number of different technologies:
    • IBM MQ single instance (as shown in the Quick Start)
    • IBM MQ Multi-Instance
    • IBM MQ RDQM
    • IBM MQ in containers - using either ECS, EKS, OpenShift or another supported runtime.
The key aspect is to realize that the Quick Start is only one approach, you have the flexibility to decide.
