Hi Sam, Im going to come back at you on this (sorry for the year delay :-) IBM wouldn't allow Nastel in place of ILMT for IBM Audit would it?
cheers!

If you're monitoring MQ with Nastel AutoPilot this will tell you the CPUs that MQ is using.

Hi Folks,
everyone's favourite questions are on licensing aren't they !?.....
I've just noticed that Leif put this on his blog late 2018 :
https://leifdavidsen.wordpress.com/tag/mq-on-azure/
the most notable statement being the following:
Ordinarily, on-premises, this would require ILMT to run everywhere. However when deploying MQ on public clouds, these also have good reporting mechanisms. IBM will accept these reports as proof of deployment, and of the size of the deployment.
I'm intrigued to know what tools we can use - I don't want my customers to get stung because they didn't use the "right" ones ;-) Do we just have to show that a VM has "n" CPU available to it ? How does that work for containers?
Anyone know ?
Thanks !
John.
