     Hello smart people,

    MY IBM CLOUD SETUP:
I have a Cloudant Lite database.

To call that database, I have two Cloud Functions API's:
    • API-1 exists in a "CF-based" org/space (a Cloud Foundry space-based API managed by Legacy API Gateway).
    • API-2 exists in a newly created Cloud-Functions Namespace (a resource group-based API managed by API Gateway).
    ***
    DEPRECATION WARNING:
When I view this page for API-Gateway: "https://cloud.ibm.com/apis/overview", only API-1 is listed, and there is a new popup which says:

    • ^ That post says: "The IBM Cloud API Gateway Service will be deprecated on 31 August 2022. The IBM Cloud API Gateway Service will be replaced with the IBM Cloud API Connect Reserved plan. The service will be removed from the IBM Cloud catalog on 31 October 2021. We have a document to help you move your assets off of the IBM Cloud API Gateway Service available in the IBM Cloud docs. Please do not hesitate to reach out to an IBM sales representative with any questions."

I researched this "IBM Cloud API Connect Reserved" plan here. It says:

    • Billing metric - Number of millions of API calls during a year
    • Billing cycle - Annual (12 months)
As far as I can tell, it will require a paid IBM account.

    MY QUESTIONS:

    1. I assume the Legacy Gateway API (API-1will be deprecated. Will the Cloud-Functions Namespace Gateway-API (API-2also be deprecated?

    2. Does this August Migration to "IBM Connect Reserved Plan" mean there will no longer be a free tier for managing Cloud Function APIs?

I want to understand so I can prepare.

I am happy to provide screenshots or details.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi @Sunny G - apologies for the late response but I have confirmed with @NEWTON PICCONE that the answers to both your questions are correct.
I will let Newton elaborate further but I did want to at least comment on your questions.
