Kelsy Tibshraeny

As the Community Manager, it is my job to oversee the Middleware User Community to ensure it is a vibrant and thriving place for all members. I provide strategic guidance for the engagement and development of the IBM Community. I am responsible for ongoing support to our Middleware users, as well as overseeing our wonderful programs for Digital Engagement and User Groups.

Hobbies: I enjoy all things beauty, fashion, and wellness! I love being outdoors and exercising. Hiking, biking, and swimming are some of my favorite outdoor activities.

Favorite Community Memory: I attended InterConnect in 2016 and the Think conference in 2019. I really enjoyed getting to meet and interact with all our members in person.

Fun Fact: I was born and raised in Arizona, enjoy country music, love exploring new cities and meeting new people.

Role: I serve as an Associate Online Community Manager. I focus mainly on #IMWUC social media, Webinars and other roles for the community! I create daily content for the @IBMMiddlewareUC twitter account as well as post in the Middleware User community LinkedIn Group. Click the links to follow if you haven’t already!

Hobbies: I am a big collector. I like holding onto things, some of the things I collect are Hockey/Football Cards, Bobbleheads, Magazines, and surprisingly enough I have a pretty impressive collection of different flavors of Burt’s Bees Chapstick’s.

Favorite Community Memory: My favorite community memory so far has been the response to my initial intro post on the Middleware blog. The blog received a lot of views and it felt great that people were interested in learning about me and took the time to check it out. If you haven’t seen it yet, view it here:

Fun Fact: I have two, the first is that I have a fraternal twin brother. The other fun fact is that my first time flying on an airplane was only a few months ago (in 2018) when I traveled to visit my uncle in North Hollywood.
